The Idaho Crime Victims Compensation Program reimburses providers and victims for treatment expenses incurred on behalf of the victim after all other payment sources have been exhausted, up to a maximum of $25,000. To apply, you must fill out the CVCP Application and provide supporting documents. If you are found eligible and your claim is approved, payment may be made for reasonable expenses that are the direct result of the crime, including:
- Medical encompasses dental, vision, hearing, ambulance transport, hospital care, outpatient care, diagnostic imaging, and pharmacy costs.
- Mental health treatment.
- Family Mental Health Benefits – We understand that the impact of a crime extends beyond the victim. Our program also offers counseling benefits for specific family members of victims who have experienced certain crimes.
- Economic Support and Loss of Support include wage loss and weekly compensation for victims and dependents.
- Funeral expenses.
